Taj Mahal

Well having settled into our new hotel the equivalent (for us) of the Taj Mahal. The pictures pretty much show what it is like. Marie is excited to spend a day lounging about the pool. For me, there is a small exercise room on the lower level (didn't want to say basement) where I can sculpture my physique into that of a Greek god, LOL, (at the very least burn off the calories) and follow it up with a swim in the lap pool. I'm not much of a swimmer but it does feel good to cool off and loosen up. I'm trying to get Marie ( she's petrified of the water ) to practice floating and maybe even try a stroke or two. I don't think it will happen.
There are three pools on three levels, the top one being the largest, the middle level slightly smaller and the lower level for the kids. Lounges are available around each pool.
Our room is huge with a comfortable bed. We have a large balcony over looking a garden with the ocean view between the trees in the background. Truly spectacular. The bathroom is also amazing, separate shower and tub and a toilet enclosure. Again lots of space and marble tile all around. After this hotel it's going to be tough to get back into the back packer type of accommodation! Lol! (Where Windows are sometimes not an option but the musty sewer smells are always free! Lol!)
The dining area is on the sixth floor, a spectacular terrace with a view to match. We can hardly wait to try the buffet one morning.
